How to take your measurements

Use a soft tape measure, stand naturally, and keep the tape level. Record each figure in centimeters or inches before comparing it with the tables below.

1. Chest

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, keeping it parallel to the floor.

2. Sleeve length

Bend your elbow slightly, then measure from the center back of the neck to the wrist bone.

3. Waist

Measure around your natural waistline, just above the hip bone, without pulling the tape tight.

4. Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam down to the point where you want the trouser hem to sit.

Choosing a cut

Slim, tailored, and classic cuts differ in how closely the jacket follows the body. Compare the notes below, then match them with your measurements.

Slim

A close silhouette through the chest and waist, suited to a narrow frame. Check the waist measurement carefully.

Tailored

A balanced fit with moderate room through the body, a versatile choice for most measurements.

Classic

A relaxed cut with generous room, suited to comfortable movement and a traditional line.
